Tandem di Bronzo per due atleti Umbri

ANDEM DI BRONZO PER DUE ATLETI UMBRI alla finale di Coppa Italia Judo M/F, disputatasi presso il Palasport 105 stadium di Genova il 12 novembre. Il Perugino Alessandro Binucci, categoria -81 kg del Kdk Samurai Spello conquista un meritato terzo posto nella categoria 81 kg., risultato che premia l'impegno e gli enormi sacrifici di questo atleta, che trascorre lunghi periodi di tempo a Torino, dove è seguito dal M° Pierangelo Toniolo. Un successo, fortemente voluto, maturato dopo aver affrontato ben sette atleti, con un parziale di 6 vittorie e una sola sconfitta. Dopo aver superato il primo turno, l'umbro ha ceduto il passo per somma di ammonizioni al napoletano D'Arco. Nei recuperi, il percorso si fa in in salita e, dopo aver battuto judokas titolati, tra cui il forte georgiano, nella finalina incontra il rivale di sempre, la sua bestia nera, il parmense Setti, ma questa volta la musica è diversa e Alessandro infila una bellissima tecnica, valutata waza ari, un vantaggio che riesce a portare fino alla fine del combattimento. Con questa medaglia, Alessandro ritorna su podio dopo il bronzo del 2014 e raggiunge i punti indispensabili per il passaggio al terzo dan: non c'è che dire, un sabato da ricordare per l'atleta dei fratelli Famà e per il tecnico Filippo Battistoni, coach d'eccezione per questa finale. Il secondo bronzo, nella categoria dei 90 kg, va al collo del temibile spoletino Daniele Sciabola della squadra X2 Spoleto, del tecnico Leonardo Perini (vice presidente del settore judo della FIJLKAM), società che collabora con il Kodokan di Spello con l'obiettivo di far crescere atleti di valore e di permettere questi ragazzi di raggiungere i massimi livelli nazionali. Dopo la fine dell'esperienza torinese, lo spoletino - allenato dal M° Janusz Pawloski, attualmente coach della nazionale canadese - ha fatto ritorno in Umbria e ha proseguito gli allenamenti alternandosi tra le due società umbre, dimostrando in gara tutto il suo potenziale: quattro incontri finiti prima del limite, tutti vinti per ippon in piedi. Solo il campione italiano Nichols Munghai, di Torino, con una tecnica di rara bellezza, è riuscito a domare Daniele. Il pur bravo Michael Balzana conclude la trasferta ligure all'undicesimo posto: infatti, dopo aver superato i primi due turni, è stato costretto a cedere al napoletano Brudetti, vincitore della categoria, fortemente condizionato da un doloroso trauma alla spalla destra. Sfortunata, invece, la gara di Benedetta Baroni, vincitrice di due incontri per ippon e nona classificata nella categoria dei 48 kg., si deve ritirare dalla competizione per un infortunio alal spalla, che la terrà lontana dal tatami per almeno venti giorni. Nel complessivo, una Coppa Italia positiva per i portacolori umbri quella di Genova che fa ben sperare per i prossimi appuntamenti.

Oro e bronzo per i fratelli Mosquera alla Coppa Italia

Sabato di medaglie per il club spellano il quale, impegnato in tre diverse competizioni, una a Torino, una a L'Aquila e un'ultima a Ostia, è riuscito a cogliere importanti risultati ed ha evidenziato un'importante crescita collettiva della squadra. Al PalaPellicone di Ostia sabato 15 ottobre i lottatori spellani hanno ottenuto il successo più significativo, conquistando l'oro con il forte Jorge Mosquera Ruiz, il quale sarà impegnato nella "sfida al campione" il 17 dicembre a Ostia e che lo vedrà opposto al campione assoluto 2016, e due bronzi con il fratello Lenin Fernando e con l'inossidabile Edoardo Paccamonti: nulla da fare, invece, per il vice campione d'Italia Jordy Suarez uscito al primo turno. La squadra di lotta è salita sul gradino più basso della classifica per società, un terzo posto più che lusinghiero. Sul fronte del judo, invece, il forte Alessandro Binucci sembra aver ritrovato il guizzo degli anno d'oro e, dopo aver disputato ben sette incontri e averne perso solo uno contro un temibile tedesco, ha centrato uno splendido terzo posto nell'ultima tappa di Grand Prix di Torino, un risultato fortemente motivante per lo spellano che lo vedrà calcare il tatami di Malaga, sabato 20 ottobre: purtroppo, Benedetta Baroni perde sia il primo che il secondo incontro e conclude il Torneo della Mole senza conquistare alcun punto per la Ranking nazionale. Buona anche la prestazione di Michael Balzana al Torneo de L'Aquila, che nell'inedita categoria dei 73 kg. si piazza al terzo posto dopo aver affrontato ben sei avversari. Il club di Spello ha ben figurato a L'Aquila grazie anche a Gloria Giacomucci, Carlo Kallcishta, Klevis Zeneli, Matteo Murasecco, Claudia Napoletano, Giacomo Gramaccioni, Luca Giulietti e Patryk Stojecki.

The Umbrian Judo to the fore at the Italian Cup of Crotone

A bitter Silver medal for Filippo Battistoni at the national finals of the Italian Cup, held on Saturday May 30th in Crotone. Filippo passed the first round without fighting, being N. 3 in the national ranking, he easily passed the second meeting against the Sicilian athlete Verdimari, several times medalist in the Italian championships, beating him with a superb ippon. At the third meeting, entry ticket for the access to the final, he fighted once again against the strong athlete of Genova, D'Apice: a one-way fight for Filippo, that ended before the end of the fight with a spectacular technique. In the final meeting,to get on the top step of the Podium, he had to face the roman athlete Valerio Menale, asbolute second place in Italy. Filippo, in great shape, dominated the Roman Menale; then, after an amazing technique, valued waza-ari, he blocked the opponent down on the floor until a few seconds before the end of the meeting, but in the end, in a totally unexpected way, the situation has been reversed and Filippo was immobilized by Menale, who stole him the first place on the Podium. Despair and disbelief among the ranks of the Club of Spello and a surprise ending that, however, does not obscure the good performance of Filippo, who - after the university national title won in Salsomaggiore on Saturday, May 23rd - has shown to have the potential and the technique to get great results. Good also the performance of Binucci, returning to important competitions after a knee surgery of two months ago: he has fighted like a lion and beated two strong judokas, with two beautiful ippon techniques: at the third fight, an unforgivable mistake and three liabilities that allowed him to reach only the twelfth place. The absolutes are in December and Alessandro, for that appointment, will be in great shape to do well. Not so good the performance of Cristiano Turrini who, at the first fight, in a class higher than his, had to face the plurimedalists Diego Frustaci of the Banzai Cortina Rome. Instead, interesting the competitions of Michael Balzana and Jorge Mosquera, showing a fighting spirit and a great commitment, proving to be strong opponents; nothing to do for Benedetta Baroni, too young and inexperienced for a high-level Italian Cup. Satisfaction, therefore, for the brothers Giulio and Giuseppe Famà and all the association of Spello. However, an Italian Cup to remember for Umbria, that of Crotone, thanks to the silver medail of Matteo Lascialfari of Umbertide, trained by Mirco Diarena, and to the fifth place of Daniele Sciabola, of the company of Spoleto X2 of the vice president Leonardo Perini. The return to the competition of Daniele has galvanized the whole umbrian expedition: the powerful and fast Ura-Nage against the vice-champion of Italy is one of those ippons to be framed and that will be remembered for a long time.

Three bronze medals conquered by wrestling team of Spello during the Italian Cup of Naples

An excellent performance, that of the boys trained by the technicians Alvaro Fontanella and Paolo Iannetti in last leg of the circuit of the Italian Cup: a medal around the necks of the promising young Lenin Fernando Mosquera and of his brother Jorge and also of Giacomo Bartoni. Gold and silver at the Italian Cup for the brothers Mosquera Ruiz

A great start for wrestlers of the Kodokan Spello who won two heavy medals at the 1st phase of the Italian Cup held in Milan, Saturday, Oct. 11. Jorge Mosquera fought with his heart and in the final he holds head, in a harsh confrontation, to the titrated Cecca, several times medalist at the absolutes: only the admonitions given to Jorge prevented him to get on the top step of the podium. A silver medal that does not satisfy, given the great expectations placed on the strong athlete, trained by coach Paolo Iannetti, but he will certainly have a chance to redeem himself in the final round of the Italian Cup, that will be held in Naples on November 22. Good debut instead of his brother Lenin Mosquera who won the gold thanks to a flawless race, proof that the fifth place obtained at the Italian Championships is only the visit card for the next national commitments. "An athlete who is definitely growing, he will certainly let talk about himself - says the regional manager, Alvaro Fontanella - given the young age and the enormous physical potential: we are working on the technical side, and we hope in a great grow”. The Giant of Spello saves the honor of Umbria

A bitter bronze, the one won by Filippo Battistoni in the finals of the Italian Cup, held in Follonica Saturday 31 May, who saw wrecked the dream of winning the gold after losing the match against the athlete of Genoa, D'Apice. A fight dominated by Filippo up to a minute until the end of the fight, when a sudden and unexpected blow deprived him of the opportunity to play the final, and relegated him to recover to win the third place. During the recoveries, Filippo did not give a chance to anyone and defeated one after the other three opponents, beating them before the time ran out with spectacular ippons. Three fights managed with supremacy and safety, which demonstrate that the samurai of Spello is back stronger than before and certainly more mature.
